Description
Many cultures value the camellia for different reasons and cultural purposes. In Japan, the camellia is Tsubaki, and symbolizes the divine. It is used in religious and sacred ceremonies. The inspiration for this piece was a serene feeling of peaceful blues and greens with an Asian influence. Hence, the swan's peaceful glide across the water, swimming into the frame, the central hand fan, and the prominent camellia flower, surrounded by soft floral elements and ancient charts in the corners, were brought together here.
