Artist's Description
Nisqually Wildlife Refuge in Washington State on a calm day in August. The refuge lies on an old family farm at the southern-most end of Puget Sound. Here, the tide is almost out and the bottom of the salt water basin is being revealed. This view is looking north toward Anderson Island, with the clouds beginning to smooth out over the sound. This is a wider view, similar to Nisqually Looking North, but with the grassy bank and a small portion of the walking path.
