Description
This photo grunge illustration is about relieving people of their worldly frustrations, if only for a bit. That is, figuratively cracking open their craniums, and releasing their virtual chains. Traveling to different places, across the plains and into the towns and cities, characterized here with a weather vane on the left and an aerial image on the right. The Making of a Clown suggests the fine line between happiness and sadness. Jesters and clowns have been around a long time. Making people feel better doesn't fix any problems, but psychologically, it helps to forget for a while, releasing the grip of life's chains. The vintage clown images in the composition harken back to the traveling circuses and carnivals of the 1920s and 1930s.
