Description
Cosmic Autumn was created at the beginning of fall. The seasons are caused by the tilt of the earth's rotational axis in relation to the sun, as the solstices and equinoxes are defined in the astronomical calendar, so you could say the changing of the seasons is a cosmic event, or at least related to one. Here we see a blend of the cosmos and the earthly signs we see. Autumn leaves in beautiful fall colors, the baring of trees, leaving empty limbs and branches creating a transparency to view muted skies that eventually give way to winter. Juxtaposed to these earthly elements we see a night sky, stars, and the constellations Andromeda, Capricorn, Cancer, Aquarius, and Scorpio. A blend of colorful ink formations provides the backdrop for this imaginary scene.
